Hi Bjarne,
I am very sorry you are closing your LJ. Before you close it, can you tell me the best way to follow your work?
There wont be any more work to follow, simple as that!
I'm sorry to hear that you're closing your lj. Are you going to be blogging somewhere else? (Deleted comment)
I am pleased if i have inspired you. Love and hugs
Bjarne
Because i dont bother anymore, i am fed up with it!
Bjarne
Hope you get a succesfull life with lots of jobs
You will be dearly missed Bjarne, but you could always return to costuming if it pleases you. I have no idea how to close down the blog, but you could always rename it and keep us updated on your wonderful embroidery.
It bothers me really badly, that i never mangaged to make that huge courtdress i had hoped for, but i could not give my husband the narrow space i would give him in our living room. What bothers me most is the 20 yard silk brokade lying here, and the heavy crinoline steel, i shall not use...................... I hope in the future you will slow down your projekts, and start to make handsewing in stead
Bjarne, I don't reply very often but I continually admire your great talent. You're truly an inspiration. You will be missed.

Oh Bjarne I will miss you on Livejournal! I have loved following your projects and your embroidery has always been a great inspiration.
I should be very sorry to see you go.
I'm sorry to hear you are leaving LJ. hopefully there will be a time when you can come back to costuming for enjoyment purposes.
I can't be of much help as of closing your LJ, but know you will be missed and I hope you and your husband have a wonderful vacation.
*hugs* thank you for sharing as much as you did.
Even if you don't continue costuming, I would love to follow your wonderful embroidery, so do let us know how that would be possible. If you ever get to the Seattle area, do look me up.
I too, am a historical costumer here in Seattle! Are you part of a historical costuming group that I might recognize you? Would love to stay in touch since we are in each other's back yard....

I understand the need to step away from work...burn out happens! I've loved your work and seeing your process, and I'll miss you! Please know you've been an inspiration for me and my students for years.
Bjorne, I shall miss you and your exquisite work, but I do understand the waste of your time and money on a gown that will never happen - I feel so sorry for that. I think we would all like to see any embroidery projects you might feel like sharing in the future.
I too shall be very sad to see you leave LJ. Your creations always make me work harder on my own. If you will still be doing embroidery, I hope there will be somewhere we can continue to be inspired by you. Best wishes for the future!
I'm so sorry to see you go - I so enjoy following your work! If you blog or update elsewhere, please let us know before you totally get rid of your LJ? Best of luck with everything. |
